EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY
EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY is for people who find normal therapy inside a clinic/therapy room too intimidating, pressurised and rigid.
Take your therapy to a different level and join with the horse to mirror your thoughts. Engage in a natural therapy with an understanding creature who has no agenda, or preconceived ideas of who or what you are. A horse does not judge but will help you come to terms with any issues by gentle thought.
Our psychotherapist and equine therapists are at hand at all times to make this therapy an amazing and fulfilling experience. They will help you read the horses messages if required and help you interact with the horse for this special type of therapy.
The whole therapy is based in a natural environment on a country farm with its ten acres of grasslands and woods. The environment offers an alternative to the usual clinical therapy and has a relaxing supportive place within therapy as a whole.

GEMINI 10 hand grey gelding
Is a fairytale pony, pure white with flowing mane and tail. He adores children. He spent his younger life being ill treated and starved. No one can get cross with him, he will stand in the corner and shake. Gemini mirrors children in his mischievous ways and loves to play. He builds confidence by allowing children to interact with him and will stand completely calmly whilst being groomed or fussed. He loves to go for walks and will allow the smallest child (obviously supervised) to take him.
SASHAY 16.2 black mare
Sashay will also allow small children to interact with her but does not mind your size. She just looks lovingly at any human and understands how they feel. She has had trauma in her life but has not allowed this to change her personality She carries a scar on her tongue, but it took months to find as she only allowed it to show when she was in pain. She forgives everything and teaches that forgiving is a very powerful lesson.
MERLIN 28 inch miniature horse
Merlin is a tiny little pony with a big heart. He has brilliant blue eyes that seem to see right into your soul, and more spots than any dalmation. His life has been happy and content (we are having to watch his weight) but as his name suggests he has magical powers beyond his years. He teaches joy in being alive as he bounces along without a care in the world. He lives for today and all that this brings.
ROMEO 16 hands bay gelding
Romeo as his name suggests, likes the ladies. He has a vast following who are determined to keep him with us forever. He is only a young horse, who found himself in trouble at a very young age. He has since learn t how to charm the birds off the trees with his winning and naughty ways. He is forgiven everything. He teaches not to judge a book by its cover, as the charm can sometimes disappear as he forgets himself and does something naughty. When scolded, he just looks at you with his warm eyes and says what me, you imagined it, and everything is back to normal instantly. What a charmer.
GHOSTE 2 year old paint horse
Ghoste is our medicine horse. A typical native Indian type paint horse. He Is only young and was named after a Mongolian shaman who has very special gifts.
TAIGA 8 month old bay foal
Taiga is just a baby with very winning ways. no one can walk past him without falling in love. He is a spirit horse and has come to help people with 2012. he has been very poorly throughout his short life and now feeling so much better shows gratitude and love through his exceptionly bright sparkling eyes.
